Thanks call inflation u can blame government for makin food places to raise the minimum wage to almost 15.00 a hr. I only got paid 3.50 hr. In the 70’s fast food work is not hard work I say at the most people should get paid is 7.50 a hr. Its not a job to support your self on its just to make a little extra on and students to earn their own money
The government does not control inflation nor do they control fast-food wages. We have something called a “Capitalist economy”. Have you not heard of the worldwide pandemic we’re in? You might wish to blame China or nature for that one.

Terrible food! FF hard and too salty. Cod greasy and mushy on inside. All was bad and we were charged for two meals and only got one!! Won’t be going back! Nothing beats Joey’s!! April 2022!!!
Sorry to say but your food is just like Captain’s D’s. It is overpriced and undercooked. It is not prepared correctly. I will be contacting the health department. It’s time for an inspection of your food and how it is prepared. It is time for you to get with it.

I went LJS in W. Frankfort,IL. on 8-6-13 for supper and bought the fish meal & Chicken meal and I could not believe the size of the pieces fish & chicken have been reduced to the fish was cut so thin all you could taste was the batter & the chicken was cut thin & short but the prices were raised higher than they were before, so you pay more for less and less quality. I’ve been going there for a long time but never again now after this.

Just came back from my “drive thru” meal at LJS. Ehen I pulled up I ordered 2 Fish & 6 Shrimp, The order taker said that he was having a hard time hearing me and that I should repeat the order…which I did. He then asked what I wanted for the sides? I said I wanted tarter sauce, he said I could get the hush puppies and slaw…I said fine and went to the window to pay… total cost was $9+. and the order I wanted was only supposed to be $7.99… I’m over 70 years old and did not want to be a problem…plus he had said his radio receiver wasn’t working so good. He was very courteous and cheerful, but the meal was not what I wanted or ordered…. LJS should either fix his intercom system or get something that confirms the order visually. I paid for it and went home and then was very disappointed…

They got you for the drink..it’s not included in the combo. Most all other fast food places include the drink. LJ

Yep..price is off the charts for the quality. They get you on the combos because the drink isn’t included. I wouldn’t care about the prices so much if the drink came with it. They soak for basically another 2 bux. So it’s pretty much 10.00 for a fast food meal?? I can hit the lunch buffet at the casino for 14.00. They have steak, chops, chicken, baked fried what ever and tons of great sides. drink included.
I will never go back to Long John silvers. The prices are high. the buildings are dirty and it’s all a bunch of greasy food. It’s hit and miss. if you get a clean oil day it’s OK but still over priced..get a bad oil day your screwed all the way around.
Prices have soared to the extinct you cannot afford to eat here. Fish and chicken have gotten much smaller. And anytime I go to look for a coupon I have to input ALL the info in. They need to have you register and then you can just log in anytime with a user ID and password. Come on LJS lower your prices so we can continue to eat your food. Our local Luby’s has an ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET for ONLY $7.99 and that includes drink and desert, And you can eat anything on the menu.
I use to go to long john silvers a lot and order their meals well one day I went to a long john silvers restaurant and ordered the fish and shrinp combo. I ate it but it tasted like the grease they use was not clean or that the seafood had gone bad. lets just say I got sicker than a dog!! now you could not pay me any kind off money to eat at a long john silvers seafood restaurant again!!! iam very un happy the way the meal went. iam not alone my step mother got sick at another different long john silvers. shes said she thru with eating there ever again.

I read the comments will go elsewhere in town fish sandwich across the street are 2 for 2 dollars and they are as large as the pieces on a meal LJS I can buy two ltr Mt dew for 1 dollar so why waste that on a 20 oz drink that is mainly ice?

Long John Silver’s Used To Be My Very Favorite Place To Eat, I Especially Love The Fish And Hushpuppies. Now My Husband Won’t Even Go There Because They Have Raised The Prices So High, And Cut Down On The Portions So Much. I Would Love To Come Back As I Am Sure A Lot Of People Would, But We Can’t Afford This Prices In This Economy, When We Can Eat Somewhere Else And Get Much More And It Is Cheaper. Prices to high and the chicken has no taste. I do not know what they changed. It used to be a good place to eat. We live in vegas years ago there was one on every corner not anymore just a very few here now. People are smarter than ljs thinks they are. Good luck staying afloat.

I work at LJS, and I realize that our prices are high, but our food has to be higher because it cost more to make than a burger at McDonald’s. We have very good proportions on everything. We go through more to go boxes than any other fast food place because customers can’t finish their food. Also, this website does not list the prices correctly. At my store, Lobster bites are only $3.99, not $4.99, and we have add-a-peice of fish for only $1.69, etc. We’re also one of the only stores that makes our food look the way it does in the advertisements. Don’t give up on us, yet, and I’m not just saying that because I want your money.
Got a coupon online so the price was right BUT the fish was like rubber. The store is shared with KFC so the fries and cole slaw were fine, the shrimp were good also. Just the fish was uneatable.
we waited 30 minutes for 4 pcs of fish and 6 shrimp. No cashier added up on a piece of notebook paper. horrible service and prices way to high, 4 people working in front and took thiry minutes at the drive thru window.

I go to the Cheviot store at least twice a week and had to wait 16 minutes on 7/23/2014. This happens quite often at this location. Someone needs to check this store out as you are losing customers.( note 2 cars behind us left)

We lived in Altus, OK from 1986 until 1997. We ate at Long John Silver every weekend. It was thick codfish big chunks of cod or another white fish. So delicious. Then we found the A & W LJS combined near our house, on 67th and Peoria, AZ. I was served diamond shaped fish sticks. So disappointed. Then they offered actual cod fish for about 8 or 9 dollars. There’s nowhere in Peoria or Glendale, AZ where I can get good fish and chips.for any price. Everyone is cutting their budget to make more profit, and we cannot get food anymore. I sure miss the OK LJS, and the Las Vegas “Mr Fish and Chips”!
These prices are ridiculous! Just a couple of years ago you could buy a dozen hushpuppies for 99cents! Now they want a arm and a leg! And they now want to charge 3 dollars for a stupid grab and go sandwich? I will not be going long johns ever again! This is robbery!

Stopped at local Long John Silvers/Taco Bell in Hamburg,PA. Ordered one meal and one combo. Menu says choice of 2 sides with meal and choice of 1 side with combo. Placed order and asked if about choice of sides. Was told meal comes with fries & cole slaw and combo comes with fries. Asked again if I could pick sides, was told that is what they come with. This is false advertising offering choice of sides when there is no choice what you get. Have been in another LJS where I was able to chose sides a year before. Very dissatisfied.
I waited in the drive thru. I waited over 10 MINUTES for a LARGE root beer float. I even called the store and a girl said she would run it out. She never did. I finally get to the window and a man hands me a MEDIUM root beer float that at this point is MELTED COMPLETELY. I explain the wait was RIDICULOUS considering I had a drink. I asked why they do not have people pull forward and he says because of rude customers like me. I asked for the manager, but wait he is the manager. I asked for a superior but that’s him as well. I get no recipe so I call the location to get his name he says its Tim begins to argue with me again. Tim then hangs the phone up on me. So I called back and the female who was going to “run my drink out” answers and I ask her to tell her manager that the phone call was recorded because legally I have to let him know. She’s all gigly as if its funny. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED. As a manager of a business you never DISRESPECT a customer. I was running late to Breast Feed my child who was at home. Shame on him for showing his other employees its okay to treat someone like this. I NEVER was rude I never CURSED. This is a complete DISGRACE.
I went to store #32076, with a coupon for $2.00 of on any platter 2 fish 6 shrimp 2 side the price on internet was $8.97 so I order what I thought $8.97 but charge $9.99, when I asked about the price, they said they do not have that on the internet
Need to open a store in Henderson, Nevda! City is “booming”. Never has a store here and all the stores on the east side of Las Vegas were closed! Nor driving 19 miles to your store!
