Krystal was founded in 1932 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, by Rody Davenport Jr. and J. Glenn Sherrill. Rody got the idea for Krystal by visiting a White Castle restaurant.
As mentioned above, Krystal is thought to be very similar to White Castle, except it mainly operates in the Southern United States, while White Castle is mainly in the Midwest. Despite not competing in the same regions, Krystal prices tend to be similar to White Castle.

I have a coupon for 3 free Krystals with the purchase of a medium drink and medium french fries. The 3 free Krystals with the purchase of drink and fries costs more than your $2.99 special. Some deal that is. How do you consider them to be free. haha big joke.

I went to the Krystal in Athens tn and got a sack full of Krystal’s and there was plastic pieces in my food it was gross to find i will not be back at another Krystal’s again cause I has happened 2times to me .
No matter what in or order to stay open they have to go up on prices.
For plastic! Remember you are dealing with kids here who don’t care. They just want a lil money. Every drive thru I’ve been thru in last 6 months has not got my order right, cold or raw. It’s management.if I were Mabagement or owner I would fire them all.
I went to Krystal’s in West Memphis and was charged $22 plus for 2 combo Krystal meals. Since there were no lights in the parking lot or on the menu in the drive thru we could not question the cost. Obviously we were taken advantage of as we checked on the cost later. Probably double the cost. We will never again buy food at this Krystal’s or maybe any.
( KRYSTAL fast food service in West Memphis Arkansas ) This is the worst service I have ever had coming from Krystal’s, we ordered two sack fulls of burgers with mustard all come out the window had mayonnaise on all the burgers. We ordered six double cheese burgers two orders of fries with mustard, same way mayonnaise on them. No fries in bags. This is the service from Krystal’s in West Memphis Arkansas. Got to work in break room seen what happened called she said bring them back ( lady please I’m at work on lunch break and not even trying to start about 24 minutes to get my order please lady your job not for you lay down before you do something worse to someone. Why do you have your wing so spicy not everyone can eat spicy food
Stopped by Krystal’s in Gardendale, Alabama and ordered a large Chilly, (this is in July) was told that Chilly is a seasonal dish. Is this true are does that Krystal just sux?
We went to Krystal after looking up menu and prices on line 24 burgers were $16.99 when we went to the drive through they charged us $26.99 for 24burgers because we didn’t order on line.
Krystal used to be great. They haven’t been the same since they raised their prices from the 10 cents they are worth. When they go back to 10 cents, I will buy more.
Ten cents is about right for a Krystal burger. It’s sad when I can go to a reputable steakhouse cheaper than eating at Krystal. I’m so happy I’m old and will die soon. Good luck to the younger generation, I feel sorry for you.
Overcharged for a single Krystal chik at 3.96. A child’s combo chip is only 3.49. A chik used to be 1.79 . Won’t be buying one again.
