Donatos Pizza was founded in 1963 in Columbus, Ohio, by Jim Grote. He set out to create a pizzeria that has a superior pizza product with great customer service. In 2004, Donatos introduced Take and Bake pizzas in Kroger grocery stores which allows customers to purchase frozen pizzas and bake them at home.
