Longhorn Steakhouse is known for its high-quality steaks, seafood, signature entrees, and over 30 menu features and combinations.
After 30 years of perfecting their method, Longhorn Steakhouse has created its popular Prairie Dust Seasoning that can be used to spice up any of their meat or seafood dishes. It’s become a flavorful fan favorite over the years, and in fact, you can even purchase the seasoning online. However, if you’re looking for a quick fix for the weekend and you don’t want to wait for a delivery, we’ve got you covered. It’s actually a super simple recipe that you can whip up from your own kitchen. Gather each of the eight seasonings and combine them into a small bowl. Cover it with a lid and give it a shake, or mix it up with a spoon. Then spread it over the top of any meat or seafood dish that needs some savory flavoring.
You can use it all for one meal or you can place it in a shaker and use it for the future. In that case, you may want to double or triple the recipe because the recipe we share below will cover about three servings of meat or seafood.
