A copycat of Chili's honey chipotle sauce, simmered from honey, ketchup, vinegar, ground chipotle pepper and hot sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tsp ground chipotle chile pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Make the honey chipotle sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat until boiling and stir. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Then remove from heat, and pour in a dipping bowl.

Notes

  • We recommend using McCormicks Chipotle Chili seasoning because it has the best flavor.
