Village Inn was founded in 1958 by James Mola and Merton Anderson. They opened the very first Village Inn in Denver, Colorado, previously known as Village Inn Pancake House. The company was later franchised and “Pancake House” was removed from their name. Village Inn has a casual dining atmosphere, and they are also known for their breakfast menus. Apart from breakfast, they serve a variety of different salads, pies, and kids’ meals. There are approximately 212 Village Inn restaurants across the United States and Guam.
Over the years, Village Inn has had many ups and downs, such as a drop in profits and restaurant closures. Despite those downfalls, business progressed, and Village Inn has even won various awards for their pies from the American Pie Council.
