Papa John’s is no stranger to reinventing the wheel. Need proof? The pizza chain just introduced an ingenious new creation, Jalapeno Popper Rolls. This bite-sized snack is essentially a jalapeño popper nestled in a warm, flaky crust. The inside of the rolls feature jalapeños and Philadelphia® Cream Cheese, wrapped in Papa John’s original dough and baked. Each order comes with eight pieces and is $5.99 (prices may vary by location). To cool your poppers down, dip them in the side of ranch that comes with each order.
“With our Jalapeño Popper Rolls, we are delivering our unique take on one of America’s classic appetizers, Paul Fabre, SVP of Product Innovation, said in a news release. “Our guests can add this new tasty side to bring a little spice to pizza night.”
If you’re not so much into spicy cuisine, there are a couple of other noteworthy menu additions you can try. For starters, there’s the Papadia, a pizza sandwich that resemblers a calzone. Papa John’s Papadias include flavors like Italian, Philly cheesesteak, Grilled BBQ Chicken and Bacon, and Meatball Pepperoni. The pizza franchise also released a new Garlic Parmesan crust, featuring the Extra Cheesy Alfredo Pizza.
