O’Charley’s Restaurant and Bar is a casual dining restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The chain is based in the United States and first opened its doors on 21st Avenue South in Nashville, opposite from Vanderbilt University in 1971. Charles (Sonny) Watkins founded the company and operated it for a period of 13 years until he sold it to David K. Wachtel.
O’Charley’s serves a variety of foods such as burgers & sandwiches, seafood, soups, salads, pies, and more. To top it off, kids 10 and younger get a free kids meal when an adult entree is purchased.
There are 363 O’Charley’s restaurants in the United States. The chain has closed a number of their restaurants, as well as opened a few in various parts of the United States. Despite this, O’Charley’s has progressed over the years and done some great work in the community by giving back. The restaurant’s opening and closing hours are Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
