Since 1988, Miller’s Ale House has been a low-key neighborhood destination for those who want to unwind while watching a baseball or basketball game with a beer in hand. It now has more than 70 branches all over the country, which goes to show how much people love sports bars. Most of these are in Florida, where Miller’s put up its first store. Although 2020 has been tough for Miller’s, with some of its branches closing down, many of its stores are still running strong, and customers still come back again and again to certain menu favorites.

 

A huge part of Miller’s charm is the 60+ TVs that most branches have for maximum fun while game-watching. But even if you’re only having food delivered, the comfort food that they serve up has stood the test of time. Their menu includes chicken wings and tenders, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, and fries–all of which make for ideal fare while catching a game. They also have a wide range of drinks, whether you’re in the mood for alcohol or a Coke to complement the food.

Miller’s Ale House Menu Highlights

Miller’s Ale House has plenty of classic menu items that you’re probably already familiar with, but here’s what stands out about their menu:

 

Zingers

The all-time specialty of Miller’s Ale House would have to be their Zingers. These have been part of their menu for 30 years. Zingers are basically long, hand-breaded chicken tenders that are dipped in buttermilk. You can choose from four different sauces with varying kinds of spiciness. Aside from the standalone Zingers, the menu also has creative dishes that incorporate Zingers, such as Zingers Mac & Cheese and Zingers Salad. 

 

Extensive Drink Collection

Have you ever been frustrated when restaurants barely have any variety in their drinks? This won’t be a problem at Miller’s Ale House. They have more than 50 beers on tap, with some branches reaching as high as 75. The selections are well-balanced too, a mix of local craft brews and imported drinks. On top of this, they have specialty cocktails and a fair amount of wines on hand. If you’re dining in, there’s also usually at least one bar area where you enjoy your drink.  

 

Daily Specials

While Miller’s Ale House may have retained much of their menu through the years, they manage to incorporate some variety by offering lunch and dinner specials on weekdays. Each day has a different set of menu items that are priced lower than usual. In fact, when you’re bringing kids over, consider scheduling it for Tuesday evening. Kids get a free meal then as long as you buy a $10+ menu item! If you’re in more adult company, you can avail of drink discounts during their Happy Hour, which runs from 10 AM to 12 midnight on Sunday to Thursday in certain locations.
