Back in 2015, Olive Garden released their class Alfredo sauce for everyone to make at home. And while there’s so much much to love about a bowl of creamy pasta from the Italian restaurant chain, I did a little experiment to see if I could perfect this copycat recipe with a few of my favorite ingredients. Here’s a look at Olive Garden’s Alfredo sauce recipe, plus a few ingredients your taste buds will thank you for later. Enjoy!

Notes
- Pro tip: to prevent water from boiling over, add half a tablespoon of olive oil to the water. It works wonders!
- This recipe is great with grilled chicken, salmon, or shrimp!
- To have a saucier pasta, reduce the amount of noodles you use, or multiply the recipe by one half.
