Peter Luger is an upscale steakhouse with two locations in New York, both known for their rustic ambiance. The one in Great Neck was named Best Steakhouse by Zagat. After Peter Luger’s death, his restaurants fell into disarray. They were purchased by Sol, a longtime patron of Peter Luger’s, at auction. By 1984, Sol restored the restauraunts to their former glory.
They now hold a Michelin star and they dry-age the meat at the restaurant.
